What is a Subluxation?

When any joint is out of alignment, or is subluxated, the nervous system can not operate to its fullest capacity. What does that mean for you? A body that is running below optimal. A body that is prone to injury or getting sick.

What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

When the chiropractor locates a subluxation, he gently uses his hands to properly set the joint back into alignment. This frees the nerve impingement restricting communication between the brain and the body. Thus, healing can be restored.

What is Applied Kinesiology?

Applied Kinesiology (AK) was founded in 1964 by George Goodheart, DC. By incorporating Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) into his practice, he was able to locate where the problems existed. He related muscles to specific organs and acupuncture meridians and found that an imbalance of any of these could lead to dysfunction of the human body. This could also mean by correcting the original causes of ailments could relieve symptoms felt elsewhere. AK is a wonderful diagnostic and therapeutic technique helping a wide dynamic of patients from pediatrics, to professional athletes, to our geriatric population.
