What happens on my first visit?

The doctor will do a consultation, health history and go over any previous medical records you bring in. When appropriate, treatment can begin on this visit. In general, spinal x-rays are required to begin treatment, except when contraindicated.

During a consultation, the doctor will also determine if he is the right doctor for you. If he is not, then a proper referral will be made to you. Sometimes, the doctor will co-treat with other doctors.

How do you treat?

As a chiropractor, the adjustment is the primary tool. His main focus of care is centered on the Triad of Health, which comes from Applied Kinesiology. The doctor will also make recommendations of dietary and lifestyle changes, supplements, such as whole food nutrition, herbs, and/or homeopathy. He also incorporates soft tissue work and exercise plans.

How long will it take for me to get better?

Always remember: “In general, there are no unrealistic goals, just unrealistic time frames.” Typical course of care for most health problems is 8-12 visits, which may take as long as 6 months depending on the severity of your case. Initially, treatment visits may be more frequent to resolve an acute issue.

Why do you recommend future visits once I’m better?

The ultimate goal of this office is to provide you with the best possible care. In doing so, most symptoms will be resolved. At this point, preventative maintenance is the best solution to avoid further complications or exacerbations of the original problem. In general, we recommend seeing patients for an office visit every 1-2 months.

Do you work with other doctors?

What is functional healthcare?

Functional healthcare restores the body back into balance. The body is able to regulate itself in this fashion; however, sometimes it is overwhelmed by subluxations, stress, malnourishment, and/or dehydration. When this occurs, symptoms may occur. Treating symptoms is not the answer. Treating the body with chiropractic adjustments, supplements, water, sleep, and exercise will help restore balance.

Does what you have to offer fix everybody?

Theoretically speaking, functional healthcare should be able to restore everyone. However, there are conditions where the body cannot be brought back to balance, such as an organ that has been surgically removed, compression fracture, etc. The doctor cannot successfully treat every health problem, but is an expert in the field of functional healthcare.

How much does my first visit cost?

Fees will differ per case depending on necessities of care. Other costs may include supplements, which are given on an individual basis.

How long is each office visit?

Costs can vary depending on the amount of time spent working with the doctor and the degree of technical expertise involved in exams and treatment. You will always be informed if extra services are recommended during an office visit, which may result in an increased cost.

Do you accept insurance?
